Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your upcoming event! Please complete our Event Request form or our Heart Month Event Request form (for February events only) and return it to GSAMetroAtlanta@heart.org at least 2 months prior to your event.
The Process
• After the completed form is received, the event information will be entered into our health fair database. This database is submitted to our directors and sponsors to determine our ability to participate.
• Once an event has been approved, invitations will be sent to our volunteers to try to have the event staffed.
• If an event is not approved or none of our volunteers are available to staff an event, then we send our health information packet which has all the information that we find relevant for these events.
• A deadline date is always required as we would prefer to let you know of our inability to participate in enough time to avoid inconveniencing your planning process.
We would love to be able to participate in every event to which we are invited. However hundreds of requests are received monthly and we do not have separate staff to participate in these events. Therefore the Metro Atlanta American Heart Association relies heavily on volunteers to attend community events and speaking engagements. Our volunteers are passionate, dedicated and willing; nonetheless, we are still limited by their availability. Every effort will be made to have your event staffed if requested; however, we cannot guarantee attendance until confirmed.
